เนคเก็ตไบค์เวอร์ชั่นล่าสุดจาก โรงงาน Noale ที่เป็นแหล่งผลิตรถจักรยานยนต์ของ Aprilia ได้พัมนาเครื่องยนต์สองสูบรุ่นล่าสุดที่ให้แรงบิดที่มากขึ้นพร้อมตอบสนองความสนุกในทุกจังหวะการขี่ ที่กล่าวได้ว่า นี่คือ NAKED SPORT BIKE มาตรฐานสูงโมเดลใหม่ล่าสุดจากอิตาลี
นอกจากเครื่องยนต์แล้ว ก็ได้มีการปรับแชสซีส์ใหม่เพื่อเพิ่มสมรรถนะในด้านต่างๆให้กับ Shiver 900 ใหม่ที่ได้รับการพัฒนาใหม่ล่าสุด จากพื้นฐานเดิมของ Shiver 750 ดั้งเดิมที่พัฒนาออกมาในปี 2007 ที่ใช้พื้นฐานเทคโนโลยีของรถแข่ง Aprilia Cube ที่เป็นรถแข่ง MotoGP คันแรกของ Aprilia ที่ออกแบบพัฒนาออกมาตั้งแต่ปี 2002
ด้วยเครื่องยนต์ 900 V-Twin ตัวใหม่นี้ได้ติดตั้งเทคโนโลยีสมัยใหม่ สำหรับรถจักรยานยนต์ในระดับพรีเมี่ยมที่จะมีระบบอิเล็คทรอนิคส์พื้นฐานอย่าง advance traction control system , fully electronic Ride-by-wire accelerator system รวมทั้งเทคโนโลยีล่าสุดอื่นๆที่ได้รับการพัฒนาต่อยอดมาจากรถซูเปอร์สปอร์ตอย่าง RSV4 ที่ประสบความสำเร้จในสังเวียนเวิลด์ซูเปอร์ไบค์ ซึ่งมีสเปคพื้นฐานดังนี้
